JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A man wanted on charges of child support obligations and child abandonment was arrested by Johns Creek police Sept. 9 for possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute.
Officers identified the man, who had a warrant for his arrest in Dekalb and Gwinnett counties, and conducted a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, police searched the vehicle after smelling marijuana.
Officers located 24.9 grams of marijuana, 198 Xanax pills, 98 MDMA pills, 10.3 grams of crystal meth and six THC oil tubes.
The wanted man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and his passenger was charged with possession of Schedule I and possession of Schedule II drugs.
